We pick you up from your hotel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle and drive privately north to the monasteries.
Both monasteries put you in a completely different world, enjoy and feel the peace and complete contentment of the monks. Let the real view of the mountains and the Red Sea work its magic on you. Monasteries of St. Anthony and St. Paul’s are the oldest monasteries in Christianity. Its origins can be traced back to the 4th century. These two monasteries are considered the most sacred site of the Coptic Church in Egypt.
The Monastery of Saint Anthony is a Coptic Orthodox monastery in an oasis in the Egyptian desert, founded in 361 AD by the followers of Saint Anthony.

The monastery is one of the most famous in Egypt. Vineyards and palm groves are lovingly laid out here. The heart of the complex is the Apostolic Church with 12 domes. The grotto of St. Anthony is located outside the monastery and can be reached by a steep path. We continue our exploration tour, driving around the mountain range. On the way to St. Paul’s Monastery, we will stop at a good restaurant to relax and have a delicious lunch.
The monastery of St. Paul was built by hermits in the 4th century. Saint Paul lived alone with God in a cave for 90 years.
After sightseeing, we return to Hurghada.
